Ukraine: EUSEW2020 Children's drawing contest "The best of the best"

Children's thematic drawing competitions are one of the integral elements of the Sustainable Energy Week celebrations in Ukrainian CoM signatories. This year, the Covenant of Mayors East project team, together with the EU Delegation to Ukraine took the initiative to select the drawings of the winners of local competitions for the "Best of the best" competition and to determine the winners at the national level. 

To this end, the drawings of the winners at the local level were published on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, and from 24 to 25 June (until 16:00 Kyiv time) on the same page there was an online voting for the best children's drawing on energy saving, protection climate and environment.

According to the results of the voting, the winner was a schoolgirl from Merefa Vasylyna Popova, who was awarded the main prize - a backpack with the symbols of the EU and the Covenant of Mayors and a set for drawing. However, none of the other 17 finalists was left without a prize, they also received drawing kits and backpacks with the symbolics of the European Union and the CoM.
