Ukraine: discussion of the Road Map within the framework of the Municipal Platform, Myrgorod, 13/03/2019

On March 13, 2019, a Road Map discussion was held in the conference-hall of the Mirgorod City Council on how to remove barriers for attracting investment within the framework of the Municipal Platform in Ukraine.

The participants of the training were greeted by the Deputy Mayor Sergei Mikhailenko.

The representatives of the 9 city-signatories of the Covenant of Mayors met together to discuss the plan of work for 2019 within the framework of the Municipal Platform, which was presented to them by the National Expert in Ukraine of the EU Project "Covenant of Mayors - East," Oksana Kysel.

Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the developments in the context of the municipal energy management was held. Representatives of the city-signatories of the Covenant of Mayors discussed the developments and voiced problematic issues related to practical steps in implementing the municipal energy management.

Practical work was organized in groups with teams of municipalities on project management and improvement of their capabilities, as well as analyzed the investment opportunities of the signatories of the Agreement of Mayors with the participation of experts on legal and financial issues within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Energy Development and Climate Action Plan.
