Two kindergartens in Hnivan, Ukraine, will become more energy efficient thanks to the EU-supported ‘Covenant of Mayors – Demonstrations Projects’ programme, implemented under the EU4Energy Initiative.
The programme’s experts conducted an energy audit of the two buildings in order to estimate its energy consumption and performance of technical equipment, as well as sources of energy losses. Based on the energy audit results, the experts will elaborate a list of measures to be undertaken in order to increase the energy efficiency of buildings.
The positive results of the improvements will be felt both by children and by their teachers in the kindergartens. They will also help to save money on heating.
