Two kindergartens in Hnivan will be thermally insulated as part of the EU-supported “Energy efficient Hnivan” project, which is part of the EU’s “Covenant of Mayors – Demonstration Projects” programme.
Based on the results of the energy audit, the insulation of the two buildings will help the schools to reduce their energy consumption by more than 70% and lower СО2 emissions by 144 tonnes per year. Children and staff will also benefit from more comfortable conditions.
