The Energy Community Secretariat has launched the call for applications for the fourth Energy Community Summer School. This is a unique opportunity for 40 postgraduate students and young professionals to gain an in-depth knowledge of the energy sector and gain the skills to shape the sector’s future.

This year’s Summer School will take place from 24 August to 31 August 2019 at the Jagiellonian University and AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland. Participation is free of charge for applicants who have passed the selection procedure. Interested candidates can apply here. The application deadline is 31 March 2019.

The Summer School specifically targets postgraduate students (masters or PhD), researchers from all energy-related disciplines, and young professionals from governmental institutions, companies, think tanks and NGOs. For the first time, this year’s Summer School will be open to up to five participants from outside the Energy Community Region.

The project is organised by the Energy Community Secretariat in cooperation with the Višegrad Fund, the Open Regional Fund for South-East Europe – Energy Efficiency (ORF-EE).
