The EU Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Peter Michalko, has awarded the main prize to the winner of the #EU4Energy Energy Markets contest, Veronika Sili. Thanks to her victory, Veronika became the proud owner of an electric scooter.

The #EU4Energy contest on Energy Markets was organised between 11 and 19 January 2019. Over the course of two weeks, participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine had the chance to test their knowledge of the energy sector, as well as find out new and interesting facts about energy sources and consumption in their countries.

More than 1,900 people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine participated in the competition. Aside from the main prize of an electric scooter, nine further prizes were awarded to contest participants in Armenia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine.

This #EU4Energy contest was organised by the EU4Energy communication project, financed by the European Union.
