Ukraine is the first country in the Energy Community to implement the Capacity Allocation Network Code.
Gas TSO of Ukraine LLC will start using the Polish GSA Platform to allocate gas capacities on the interconnection points on the Ukraine–Poland border. This is the result of the joint efforts of the Energy Community Secretariat and the Ukrainian National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission, which amended the Gas Transmission Code in February 2020.
Ukraine’s implementation of the Gas Network Code is possible thanks to the collaboration of transmission system operators, regulatory authorities of the Energy Community contracting parties and neighbouring EU Member States.
