The global green business idea competition ClimateLaunchpad is open for applications from over 55 countries around the world, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The programme aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop their clean technology ideas into global businesses. ClimateLaunchpad welcomes innovations in renewable energy, energy efficiency, food and agriculture, water, transportation, industrial technology and any other sector with an impact on climate change.

Selected participants will go through an intensive two-day boot camp and six coaching sessions to prepare for their National Finals. The top two participants from each country will pitch their ideas at the Global Grand Final in September 2020.

The ClimateLaunchpad competition is organised with financial support from the Green for Growth Fund Technical Assistance Facility, and is co-financed by the ‘EU4Energy’ programme. The winner will receive a prize of €10,000 and the chance to participate in the EU programme ‘Climate-KIC Accelerator’.
