Ecopartnership, official supporter of the EU initiative ‘Covenant of mayors for climate and energy’ in Belarus, has launched a social media challenge dedicated to the Energy Days. The challenge will be held between 5 and 12 June and will focus on promoting useful environmental and energy efficiency habits among Belarusians.
Ecopartnership’s Facebook and Instagram accounts will publish a series of posts with tips on sorting waste, using reusable containers and packaging, choosing cycling over driving, saving energy at home and at work, and environmental education in general. To take part in the challenge, people will need to complete tasks by uploading photos or videos on their Facebook or Instagram accounts using a special hashtag. Those who complete all tasks between 5 and 12 June will receive a special gift.
The Energy Days are held within the framework of the project ‘Support to the covenant of mayors initiative in Belarus’, funded by the EU and the ‘EU4Energy’ initiative. The Energy Days are hosted every year in the cities and signatories (around 50 in Belarus) under the ‘Covenant of mayors for climate and energy’ initiative. The Energy Days 2020 will be held from 1 June to 15 September.
