The Global Grand Final of the ClimateLaunchpad competition is just a day away. From 30 September to 2 October, 68 start-ups from 56 countries will pitch their business ideas to tackle climate change.
The competition, which received 3,000 applications this year, aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs develop their clean technology ideas into global businesses. ClimateLaunchpad welcomes innovations in renewable energy, energy efficiency, food and agriculture, water, transportation, industrial technology, and any other sector with an impact on climate change.
The online event will also include live keynotes, interactive masterclasses, networking, fun sessions, inspirational talks and live discussions.
The ClimateLaunchpad competition is organised with financial support from the Green for Growth Fund Technical Assistance Facility and is co-financed by the ‘EU4Energy’ programme. The winner will receive a prize of €10,000 and the chance to participate in the EU programme ‘Climate-KIC Accelerator’.
