As of December 2020, the energy modernisation programme Energodim has helped 24,700 families. So far, the Energy Efficiency Fund (EEF) has received 282 applications from homeowner associations from all over the Ukraine, 241 of which have already been approved. Thanks to the programme, the successful applicants’ apartment buildings have become more energy efficient, and homeowners have cut their utility bills by up to 50%.
The programme is implemented by the EEF with support from the EU and other international partners. It provides grants to homeowner associations, covering up to 70% of the expenses for making their apartment buildings more energy efficient. The total value of the grants received so far has exceeded UAH 1 billion (€29 million).
