The EU4Energy Governance project has published a new factsheet covering the project’s main developments during the first phase of the implementation period. The factsheet covers the results achieved from 2016 to 2020, the latest developments and data on the project’s main activities in Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in the following areas:

• Helping Eastern partner countries to prepare energy legislation and regulations;
• Promoting the adoption of new legislation;
• Providing capacity building to support reforms.

The EU4Energy Governance project is a technical assistance project funded by the European Union under the EU4Energy initiative. It targets policymakers working in the energy sectors of Eastern partner countries and helps them to strengthen their legislative and regulatory frameworks as well as identify investment opportunities in key energy infrastructure projects. Within this project, the energy community secretariat delivers technical assistance to three Eastern partner countries (Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) which are members of the Energy Community. The project’s regional activities also involve Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus.
