On 12 December, Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy Natia Turnava visited the Energy Community Secretariat, where she had a meeting with Director Janez Kopač. The meeting focused on Georgia’s progress in reforming its energy sector in line with the country’s obligations under the Energy Community Treaty.

The Deputy Minister has announced that the Government of Georgia will submit the draft Laws on Energy, Renewables, Energy Efficiency and Energy Performance of Buildings to the Parliament by the end of the year. At the same time, the country will profit from Energy Community Secretariat assistance with respect to climate policy.
