The “High Quality Studies for the Eastern Partnership” (HiQSTEP) project has published a new study entitled “Analysis of Licencing and Fiscal Frameworks for Concession Agreements”.

The report presents a standardised procedure for the procurement and award of concession agreements for energy projects. Three types of standard concession agreements are proposed encompassing oil/gas exploration and production, transmission and/or distribution networks and power generation facilities.

In addition to this study, HiQSTEP has produced a number of in-depth studies on specific subjects in line with the four Eastern Partnership Platforms and Panels available on the main HiQSTEP website.

The EU-funded HiQSTEP project, which ended in January 2018, produced high-quality studies to advance the development and objectives of the Eastern Partnership countries.
