On 5 April 2019, high-level officials from the Energy ministries of the 11 partner countries of the Eastern Partnership and Central Asia, representatives of the European Commission, as well as representatives of the implementing partners of the EU4Energy, the International Energy Agency, the Energy Community Secretariat and the Energy Charter Secretariat.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing results and future plans in improving the quality of energy data and its use in developing energy policies in all 11 partner countries.
The EU4Energy country coordinators from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus expressed their high level of appreciation and satisfaction for the ongoing support, provided by the Energy Charter Secretariat, to strengthen the legislative and regulatory framework for energy and energy efficiency. All partner countries called for the continuation of the technical assistance after the end of the current programme in 2020.
