Residents of Polack in Belarus have been invited to take part in a survey to find out how they consume electricity and how open they are to reducing energy use. The poll has been launched as part of the town’s programme of Energy Days, under the umbrella of the annual EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).

A similar survey took place in 2016 and collected opinions from more than 3,000 respondents. Comparing results will make it possible to see whether Polack citizens have become more energy conscious over the last three years. The 2019 survey is available online in Russian.

Energy Days in Polack take place as part of the PubLiCity project, which is funded by the European Union under the EU4Energy initiative. Thanks to the project, innovate LED public lighting is already being installed in Polack to help the city lower its energy bill and reduce CO2 emissions.
