A new of monitoring of energy consumption has been presented in the Ukrainian town of Ukrainka as part of the EU-financed “Covenant of Mayors – Demonstration projects” programme. It is planned that the new system will be installed in all public buildings, which include kindergartens, schools, a sports centre and a cultural centre.

Thanks to the new systems installed with EU support, the city will have access to information about its energy consumption in real time and be able to identify overconsumption. This will also help to increase the energy efficiency of equipment and buildings.
