The winner of the #EU4Energy photo competition “The future of energy” Hrant Sahakyan received his prize – an electric scooter, directly from the Head of the Delegation of European Union to Armenia Piotr Świtalski.
The winning picture shows a solar power plant in the mountains of Armenia.
“I am very proud to become the winner of the EU4Energy photo competition. I am very glad that I had the chance to show to people from different countries that Armenia has such an amazing solar power plant in the most beautiful place,” says Hrant.
More than 130 people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine submitted photos during the EU Sustainable Energy Week (17-21 July) for the #EU4Energy photo competition. A jury selected a shortlist of 30 photos, with the winners chosen by public vote.

The #EU4Energy photo competition was organised by the EU4Energy communications project as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week between 17th and 21st June and was financed by the European Union.
