The Ukrainian company Merodot has received a €50 thousand grant, under the EU Horizon 2020 Programme, to develop its technology of wireless energy transmission. The new Merodot product will help users to use their electric devices without any cables.
Meredot CEO Roman Bysko says that the grant will be used for developing the technology for transmitting energy of up to 7kWt, to a distance of 30 cm trough ‘air’ – at the same speed and efficiency as the regular cable solutions. This technology can be used in wireless charging of mobile devices, home appliances, electric cars, drones and robots.
