The fourth edition of the Energy Community Summer School started on 24 August at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. Over the course of the week, 40 postgraduate students and young professionals will gain knowledge of the economic, sustainability, technical, legal and political dimensions of the energy sector.
The Summer School participants were welcomed by Janez Kopač, Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Dirk Buschle, Dean of the Summer School and the Secretariat’s Deputy Director, and Professor Andrzej Adamski, Proxy Rector at Jagiellonian University. The opening ceremony was also attended by senior representatives of the Polish Government and the European Commission.
The project is organised by the Energy Community Secretariat in cooperation with the Visegrad Fund, the Jagiellonian University and the AGH University of Science and Technology, also in Kraków. Since 2016, the following institutions have acted as project partners: Polis University, Tirana; Comenius University, Bratislava; Jagiellonian University, Krakow; Masaryk University, Brno; and REKK, Budapest.
