The Moldovan public association “Alliance between generations” (Alianta intre generatii) organised a study visit for journalists and representatives of six member organisations of the Civil society Local Energy Efficiency Network (CLEEN) on 2 August. The visit to the villages of Milesti and Varzaresti was designed to showcase examples of green technologies in action.
They visited a solar park in Milesti and a wind turbine in Varzaresti. During the trip, the participants also met with the local authorities and talked about the CLEEN network and the prospects for developing energy-efficient, sustainable energy sources in the Republic of Moldova.
