More than 100 children are looking forward to soon returning to their kindergarten in Cantemir. The building of the kindergarten known as “kindergarten nr. 1” is being refurbished as part of the EU-financed “Covenant of Mayors – Demonstration Projects” initiative.
The works include the insulation of the building’s façade, basement and roof. As a result, it is expected that the kindergarten will save energy and money on its heating bills. The EU-supported project is also planning to renovate another four public kindergartens and schools.
