On 18 March, EU4Energy launched a project to support the Republic of Moldova in developing a Monitoring and Verification Platform. The web-based tool will help Moldovan authorities measure progress towards energy efficiency targets and calculate energy savings.

The first meeting of the working group, co-organised by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of Moldova and the Energy Community Secretariat, focused on presenting the future platform and its features.

The project is part of EU4Energy’s support for Moldova in fulfilling its commitments under the Energy Community Treaty.
