On March 19, 2021, within the framework of the municipal platform "Energy and Climate Transformation", the first online working meeting with the CoM East Territorial Coordinators will be held on the formation of regional policy on mitigation of the climate change consequences and adaptation to it.

The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place on 25-29 October 2021 under the theme: "Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System".

The project “Biomass Energy and Energy Efficient Technologies as Sustainable Energy Solutions for Covenant of Mayors signatories in Georgia”, funded by the EU project "Covenant of Mayors - Demonstration Projects" (CoM-DeP) and co-financed by the Telavi Municipality City Hall, is among the 9 winners of the 2019-2020 Best Practices contest for municipalities organized under the EU supported project “Networking for Efficiency and Development” (N4ED). The project is being implemented by the Energy Efficiency Center in Georgia, which is the Covenant of Mayors supporter in Georgia.
