Georgia: start of the training on the theme: "Development of SECAP", 28-29/05/2019
Today, the representatives of the Georgian Covenant of Mayors city-signatories, CoM National & Territorial Coordinators and Supporters gathered in Tbilisi’s Hotel “Coste” to participate in a 2-day (28-29 May, 2019) training “Sustainable Energy & Climate Action Plan (SECAP) Development”.
Ukraine: EU SEW 2019 in Mykolaiv
On Saturday, June 1, 2019, the EU Delegation in Ukraine together with the Mykolaiv City Council will open the annual European Week of Sustainable Energy in Ukraine and the exhibition of energy-efficient equipment "PRO Efficiency 3.0" and will conduct a Ceremony of greetings for new members of the Municipal Platform "Energy and Climate Transformation".
Belarus: representatives of 5 city-signatories within City2City got acquainted with the experience of Brest, 15-17/05/2019
The technical staff of the five authorities of the Belarusian cities of Dokshitsy, Korma, Mstislavl, Pinsk and Smorgon and two Georgian Ozurgeti and Gurdjaani learned about the experience of the Brest city. There were visits to the Brest waste recycling plant, wastewater treatment plant, boiler room on Daumanskaya Street, etc.

With the aim to raise the people’s awareness about the Georgia-EU relations this year the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia together with 20 EU member countries` embassies and other partners, organized the Europe Day celebration events in Tbilisi.

Moldova: training on the practical implementation of the SEAP, 23-24/04/2019, Chisinau
On April 23-24, 2019, a training was held in Chisinau on the practical implementation of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans, in particular, street lighting projects. The training is organized in the framework of the EU Project "Covenant of Mayors - East". Its participants are technical specialists of city halls, operators of street lighting, experts involved in the implementation of projects on street lighting.

In Kiev, from 18 to 19 April 2019, a two-days training was held for the city-signatories of the Covenant of Mayors on the theme: “SECAP development as a guarantee of fulfilling the commitments of the Covenant of Mayors”.

At the initiative of the Kharkiv Regional Council as a territorial coordinator of the Covenant of Mayors, as well as with the support of the Association of Local Self-Government Bodies of the Kharkiv region and the EU Project “Covenant of Mayors - East” in Ukraine, on April 16, 2019, a practical seminar on energy efficiency in Ukraine was held for communities: "Energy efficiency in communities: new challenges, new opportunities."
