Ukraine: training for big city-signatories “Specific sectorial areas of SE(C)AP implementation: technical aspects”, Slavutych, 7-8/02/2019

From 7 to 8 February 2019, a 2-day training was held in Slavutych for big city-signatories on the topic: “Specific sectorial areas of SE(C)AP implementation: technical aspects”. 

Representatives of the 28 city-signatories of the Covenant of Mayors came together to talk about planning of mitigation and adaptation projects in SEAP/SECAP within legal, finance and technical framework, how to implement renewable energy projects, and what energy efficiency of buildings is in practice.

On the second day of the training the participants visited 3 energy-efficient projects implemented in Slavutych under the CoM DeP program: private company "Ekoenergogeneratsiya", school No.1 and kindergarten No.2. After the site visit representatives of city-signatories continued to discuss topics: implementation of public street lighting projects, implementation of DH projects and waste management, as well as practical exercises in team on the project proposal development.
