The EU Sustainable Energy Award for the Eastern Partnership is part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2020 (EUSEW 2020) and aims at to promote inspiring sustainable energy initiatives in the six Eastern partner countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to citizens, businesses, governmental institutions, local authorities, civil society organisations, and youth organisations from the Eastern partner countries listed above.

A key requirement is that applicants have benefitted directly or indirectly from EU support for their energy project.

How to apply?

Eligible applicants are invited to fill in the application form by 17 April 2020, midnight Brussels time.

What is the prize?

The six finalists will be invited to the EUSEW 2020 award ceremony on 23 June 2020 (date may be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic).

The winner will be announced at the EUSEW 2020 award ceremony following a public vote.
