EUSEW2020
15 years in a row, in June, the European Commission holds THE EU SUSTAİNABLE ENERGY WEEK. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the EUSEW2020 runs from June 22 to 26 in the new online format under the theme: “Beyond the crisis: clean energy for green recovery and growth”.
ENERGY DAYS 2020 are digital activities and events organised by local public and private organisations to promote clean energy and energy efficiency. They are a key component of the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
Pick a date in May or June 2020, come up with a creative, interactive virtual event format, and share insights and good practices on leading the clean energy transition or a green recovery after COVID-19!
Register your event on THE WEBSİTE. You can register more than one Energy Day. If your event is hosted in different (virtual) locations, please fill in separate registration forms for each event with a different address. This will help people find your events on the Energy Days interactive map. There is no deadline for registering your Energy Day events, as long as they take place in May or June 2020.
For the third year running, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will also have the chance to take part and register their Energy Day activities.
In 2019, out of 120 Energy Days organised by the CoM Signatories in the Eastern Partnership countries, 66 were registered on THE EUSEW WEBSİTE for increasing EU-wide visibility of Energy Days and benefitting from the EUSEW team’s promotional support that helped to ensure their success.
More information about the EUSEW celebration in the Eastern Partnership countries can be found below.
