On 27-28th February 2020 the two-day communications workshop 'Advancing the Covenant of Mayors in the Eastern Partnership' will be held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

On December 9, 2019, the final workshop of the UNDP project “Standards and normative regulation for promoting energy efficiency in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union” was held in Yerevan, where the main results of the project were presented.

By the end of the year, Energy Day was held in the village of Vornichen, Straseni district. This event marked the first year of the village’s participation in the Covenant of Mayors, the largest European initiative on energy and climate at the local level.

On December 20, 2019, at the level of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration (territorial coordinator of the Covenant of Mayors), there was discussed the issue of forming a policy on adaptation to climate change at the regional level as one of the strategic directions of the regional development strategy for the period 2021-2027.

Climate change issues and the development of regional climate change adaptation policies are increasingly being raised at the level of coordinators of the Covenant of mayors in Ukraine.

The first stage of "Energy Efficiency Measures and Approach to EU Energy Efficiency Standards in Buildings" project envisages the implementation of demonstration projects in CoM signatory, Batumi. 

On December 10, an unusual event took place that combined energy, climate and operetta.
