Мер Ужгорода Богдан Андріїв підписав Угоду мерів. Нещодавно в Чернівцях пройшов тиждень Сталої енергії в Україні, на якому мер Ужгорода разом з іншими колегами-мерами підписали так звану Угоду мерів.

Within the framework of the Sustainable Energy Week, the CoM East National Expert, Oksana Kysil, will meet with representatives of 11 cities-signatories from the Odessa region. During the meeting there will be discussed issues related to the development, implementation of Action Plan of Sustainable Energy Development and Climate (SECAP), financial mechanisms for the implementation of the SECAP and other activities related to energy and resource efficiency, adaptation to climate change.

The program of the event includes the official opening of the Sustainable Energy Week in Nikolaev, the exhibition of energy-efficient equipment and technologies for the home, a visit to the energy efficiency center, the presentation of the local energy plan etc.

On June 3, 2018, the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine and the Chernivtsi City Council opened the European Sustainable Energy Week, which Ukraine has been conducting 8 times. Within the framework of the EU SEW 2018, a signing ceremony of the Covenant of Mayors, a press conference, panel discussion and other events aimed to raise awareness of the city's residents and other visitors about energy and resource efficiency, energy conservation and other activities aimed to reduce CO2 emissions took place.
