A workshop was held in Dubno, Ukraine, to assess the progress of the ongoing thermal modernisation project in ‘Solnishko’ preschool. As a part of the session, the project team collaborated with the teachers to raise awareness amongst pupils about the importance of saving energy.

The children learnt about what energy is, where it comes from and how to save it. They also took part in a game, where they told stories about times when they and their parents had saved energy at home.

The thermal modernisation works are financed by a project under the EU programme Covenant of Mayors – Demonstration Projects. The project will also implement energy efficiency measures in two schools and two municipal buildings in Dubno.
