The EU Delegation to Ukraine has presented the latest version of its digest depicting the most interesting stories resulting from the EU’s assistance to the country.

The May digest showcases how the EU funded an inclusive dance studio for children in Kharkiv, provided grants to Ukrainian scientists for research in the aviation and medical sectors, and helped to solve systemic problems in vocational education.

It explains how the EU helps to harmonise food and non-food safety standards with European standards, provides grants and low-interest loans for SMEs and helps to fight unfair competition. The publication also contains information on how the EU has financed a system for the transparent sale of state and communal property and assets of bankrupt banks in Ukraine.

Another important topic covered by the digest is how the EU finances demining in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions of the country, as well as helping internally displaced persons open their own businesses.
