Visitors to the Europe Day celebrations in Chisinau on 11th May had the chance to learn about energy efficiency thanks to an EU4Energy stand present on the day.
The pop-up stand has quizzes, games, and interactive features demonstrating what energy efficiency looks like in practice.
Visitors were surprised to learn that by replacing lightbulbs with LED ones, they can save up to 80% on lighting costs. At the same time, insulating building walls to EU standards can help save more that 60% in heating costs.
The EU4Energy efficiency stand will travel to Cahul for a Europe Day event on 18th May, after which it will travel to Ukraine for the launch of the EU Sustainable Energy Week in Mykolaiv on 1st June.
The energy efficiency stand was produced with EU support as part of the EU4Energy Programme.
