The Ukrainian Forum on Energy Efficiency brought together more than 300 participants in Kyiv on 18 September. Participants included city mayors, heads of rayons and regional administrations, representatives of homeowner associations and energy auditors.

The participants discussed the implementation of the “Energodim” programme – to which the EU is a donor – which seeks to make blocks of flats in Ukraine more energy efficient. They also learned about the opportunities offered by the programme, including the available grants and reimbursement procedures.

“The partial reimbursement of expenses is foreseen in three stages. The first stage foresees the reimbursement for the energy audit, while on the second and third stages the reimbursements are done for the preparation of the project documents and the remaining balance”, explained Vyachaslav Koval, Financial Director of the Energy Efficiency Fund.
