The sports complex ‘Energetik’ in Ukrainka, Ukraine, has been greenlighted to undergo full thermal modernisation as part of a project funded under the EU programme ‘Covenant of Mayors – Demonstration Projects’. The aim of the project is to make the city’s sports complex and Palace of Culture building more energy efficient through the use of renewable sources and an automated system for energy monitoring.
The next step will be selecting a contractor through a tender procedure. Once the works on the sports complex have finished, the project will move on to the Palace of Culture building.
