From 7 to 8 February 2019, a 2-day training was held in Slavutych for big city-signatories on the topic: “Specific sectorial areas of SE(C)AP implementation: technical aspects”. 

From 29 to 30 January 2019 EU Project “Covenant of Mayors - East” conducted in Slavutych training for small city-signatories on technical aspects of SEAP(C) implementation.

In Slavutych, from 29 to 30 January and from 7 to 8 February 2019, 2-days trainings will be held for CoM signatories on the topic: "Technical aspects of the SECAP implementation".

The Global Climate City Challenge a joint initiative of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM), launched a competitive selection for providing technical assistance to help prepare and fast-track financing of urban climate action projects from municipal and local authorities or entities such as municipal companies, utilities and local banks with an interest in addressing climate change.

From the 2nd to the 15th of December 2018, the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change was held in the Polish city of Katowice, where methodological and financial issues of cooperation between the Parties to the Convention were discussed, and institutional and procedural mechanisms for implementing the Paris agreement.

On December 6, 2018, workshop was held in Yerevan for the signatories of the Covenant of Mayors on Climate and Energy in Armenia, on the topic “Assessing climate risks and vulnerabilities, and developing adaptation measures in municipalities”.
