The deadline for applying for the Ukrainian national round of the ClimateLaunchpad competition has been extended until 20 May. Ukrainian start-ups with green business ideas are invited to take part and win €10,000 as well as the chance to participate in the EU-funded acceleration programme Climate-KIC.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the scope of this year’s competition is slightly changed:

• The finalists’ two-day preparatory training session will be carried out online.
• Competition organisers are ready to hold an additional training session for eight more teams, in case there is a significant number of promising applicants.
• The global final round will be held online this year.
• The national finals may take place online, depending on the conditions in Ukraine.

Greencubator is responsible for the national stage of the ClimateLaunchpad competition in Ukraine. The ClimateLaunchpad competition is organised with financial support from the Green for Growth Fund Technical Assistance Facility and is co-financed by the EU in the framework of the ‘EU4Energy’ initiative.
