Moldova, Calarasi: Efficient public lighting

The project in Calarasi was implemented under Demonstration projects programme. Within the project the following measures were implemented:
- Modernization of the street lighting system in Calarasi: replacement of 951 luminaries with LEDs, modernization pf 25 km of cables/streets and 25 control cabinets, overall online management system.
- Installation of architectural lighting at the Calarasi Museum of History and Ethnography. Within the project, additionally 30 pedestrian crossings were highlighted to improve security conditions of the urban traffic. A new street lighting control system was introduced including dimming (real-time, internet-based) and modernization of 25 control cabinets.
