Moldova: The Platform for Local Sustainable Development was Launched in Chisinau
Within the framework of the EU-funded project ‘Covenant of Mayors – East’, the Platform for Local Sustainable Development was launched in Chisinau.
The platform provides the basis for dialogue between the signatories of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, government, financial institutions, civil society and the private sector.
The event took place on February 5, 2020 with the participation of mayors and deputy mayors from 23 settlements that signed the Covenant of Mayors, together with representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and the Environment, the Ministry of Finance and under the patronage of the European Union Delegation in Moldova.
