Ukraine: EUSEW2020 Awards of CoM East Quiz on Green Recovery and Clean Energy
On June 23, as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2020, the CoM East team hosted a regional webinar and quiz on effective clean energy solutions for recovery and growth.
At the webinar “Best ideas and practices of clean energy projects for green recovery and growth” the participants discussed the topics of adaptation to climate change, the impact of COVID-19 on the implementation of energy and climate action plans at the municipal level, as well as possible ways to economy recover after the pandemic.
43 participants of the webinar competed with their knowledge during the quiz, which consisted of four rounds and a super-final. The quiz winner was the representative of Obukhiv (Ukraine) who received a voucher for the purchase of trees for landscaping the city. The second place was shared by representatives of Pokrovsk and Turka from Ukraine, they won thermal imagers for their professional activity. The incentive prize, the voucher for the purchase metering devices, was given to an energy manager from Zhytomyr for active participation in the preparation and conduct of the quiz.
