The 2020 Energy Community Summer School received 155 applications, of which 138 graduate students and young professionals from 32 countries are eligible to take part. Of these applicants, 78 come from Contracting Parties (including Georgia, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova), 43 from EU Member States, 7 from Observers and 10 from other countries.

The Summer School is organised by the Energy Community Secretariat in cooperation with the Višegrad Fund. It is planned to take place from 22 August to 29 August 2020 at the Masaryk University Centre in Telč – a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in the Czech Republic. The maximum number of participants for the 2020 Summer School is 40, and the selection procedure will be completed by mid-May 2020.

The Secretariat is continuously monitoring the impact of the COVID-19 crisis, and will notify participants in case of changes.
