More than 20 educational institutions in Belarus have received over 1,000 litres of disinfectant, as part of the EU’s support to the country. The assistance aims to help these institutions protect their students during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The disinfectant liquid has been purchased with support from the EU-funded project ‘Civic engagement in environmental monitoring and improving environmental management at the local level’.

The project is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Nature and Environmental Protection of Belarus.
