The programme Energodim is implemented by the Energy Efficiency Fund in Ukraine (EEF) with support from the EU and other international partners. The programme provides grants to homeowner associations (HOAs), covering up to 70% of the expenses for making their apartment buildings more energy efficient. Since September 2019, the EEF has received nearly 180 applications from HOAs, 100 of which have already been approved. The total value of the grants received is around UAH 739.4 million (nearly €23 million).
By August 2020, the total value of the energy efficiency projects carried out by the EEF exceeded UAH 1 billion (nearly €33 million). More than 15,500 Ukrainian households have applied for energy efficiency renovations of their buildings, reducing their CO2 emissions by a total of 19,000 tons.
