The new call for applications for the “Climate Innovation Vouchers” programme has been announced for Ukrainian companies. The joint programme of the European Union and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) financially supports companies, entrepreneurs and researchers to develop technologies aiming at increasing energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.
The successful applicants will receive Innovation Vouchers worth up to €20 000 to implement their projects in the area of energy efficiency and reducing the CO2 emissions. The grants will cover 80% of the costs of developing climate-friendly projects. Any interested candidates can apply by 1 February 2019 at: climate.biz/howtoappply/
The Climate Innovation Vouchers programme is implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD under the FINTECC programme. It is financed by the European Union, and the NGO “Greencubator” is in charge of implementation and administration. Within the framework of the Climate Innovation Vouchers programme, it is planned to fund around 50 Ukrainian companies that implement innovative technologies.
